StreetPix was born out of my personal need to capture the moments under difficult conditions during a people's revolution from November 2013 through February 2014. I found myself startled awake at 3am on the first night of the revolution in November - I lived 100 meters from ground zero. Of course the only camera I had with me when I ran outside was my mobile camera - and as the old saying goes - the best camera to use is the one you have with you.
Everywhere one turned there were a hundred different emotions, a hundred different statements to be made - all at the same time. It was as if every cubic foot of air had its own unique perspective and story. The amount of content was overwhelming and I wanted to grab it all as high quality photographs and leave the sorting out and my artistic evaluations for later.
You must imagine my disappointment when my early shots failed because for one reason or another during a shooting session I would invariable and unknowingly have touched the screen of my mobile device and some how would be in video mode, or even in some other app completely. Some of my best work was lost forever.
In the time since that first night I made myself a dedicated shooting app so I would never miss the moment again, and over time I have continued to refine it. I now make my personal shooting app available to the professional photography community. It is an invaluable tool, at least for me, during the rarest of moments in time.
I sincerely hope you find beauty and truth and wisdom - even if for one moment with my app.

HOW TO BEST USE STREETPIX:
Take a walk or urban discovery hike for the sole purpose of just SEEING. Bring our app on your phone. Go into Shoot Mode. Walk, look and when your intuition leads you to the right place and that electrifying magical perfect moment - lift your finger to trap time in a burst of exposures. Dip your hand down to the ground, above your head, or anywhere your hand will safely go to see from that perspective. Spend a day just looking and releasing the camera shutter by lifting your finger. After your shoot, look at the exposures and witness the magic of what you saw - but also more profoundly see what you did not see but yet is recorded on your film. This is magic. This is StreetPix Professional.
The StreetPix workflow is to first SHOOT, then DEVELOP, then PROOF, and then WOW the world. The app not only assists in capturing the most important moments - it also provides you the tools to sort out and choose from the thousands of shots you make during a photo shoot. Please Note: Once you shoot your exposures, developing them takes six hours to complete - just like the wonderful days of film photography when we all had to wait with great anticipation for magic to appear.
